Find your perfect cycling experience.

You have a variety of different cycling trip formats to choose from each providing a unique type of challenge. Ultimately every trip is based around your individual needs and aspirations as a rider.

Ultimate Cycling Trips

Ultimate Cycling Trips are 7 night trips to an area with a unique type of cycling heritage. Sometimes these weeks will be in well known cycling destinations such as the Dolomites or Italian and French Alps and at other times to lesser known parts that provide a new type of challenge. Ultimate weeks are charactarised by getting to know the area you are riding in intimately from a single base. The hotels you stay in during an Ultimate trip will all have been chosen because they offer something special and have a history or story to tell past or present and offer a high degree of comfort and cuisine of a very high standard.

Who are these weeks aimed at?

We have used our experience to select hotels with a difference and cycling routes that blend well known climbs with roads and climbs less frequented that when combined make for an unforgettable week. If you are looking to really get to know a specific area, admire its scenery, enjoy the terrain whilst getting a real taste for the local culture then these are a great place to start.

How challenging are these weeks?

Ultimate weeks are usually full of mountainous and challenging terrain. They will often include climbing between 2500 meters and 3500 meters each day. For certain weeks there’s a challenge unique to the local area on one of the days that could include more climbing but this is always optional with other choices available. Further details can be found on the specific page for each trip.
